The Tropical Islands

Organized groups travel by van or bus, private tours in a vehicle sized to your group. From Rio we drive to Mangaratiba and board a boat to the tropical islands, stopping to swim at four amazing beaches and for lunch. The day ends at Angra dos Reis and the transfer back to your hotel.

Beach resort day trip

Buzios Trip

Buzios is a beautiful resort town about two and a half to three hours from Rio, on a peninsula ringed by beaches whose water shifts from emerald green to turquoise blue. Once a fishing village, it was "discovered" by film star Brigitte Bardot and became her favorite spot; today Rio residents escape here on weekends and holidays. Excellent restaurants, clubs and plenty of clothing shops.

Little Africa

This tour visits sites in the part of Rio known as "Little Africa", guided by the artist and samba musician Heitor dos Prazeres. They belong to the historic and archaeological circuit of the African heritage of Brazil's Black citizens.

Street Art and Graffiti Tour

This tour is for anyone who wants to know Brazil and Rio in depth through the wonderful art spread across the city. You will see how Rio's street art began as graffiti in the outskirts, protesting social inequality, and grew into a whole range of expression that made Rio one of the world's great street art landmarks. By tram and on foot we explore Santa Teresa, the historic hilltop district, and neighbouring Lapa, the beating heart of it all: the Selarón Steps, the Lapa Arches, and the murals and graffiti covering bohemian streets, artist studios and colonial lanes.
