Alongside our daily tours in Rio de Janeiro, we also run private tours for individuals, couples or small groups. The attention is naturally more personal, and you have a much wider say in shaping the itinerary: places off the usual tourist trail, more time at some sites and less at others. If a particular topic interests you, we can build a tour around it or weave it into a regular tour. You are in charge.

Visiting a capoeira school in a favela
Private tour itineraries are completely flexible. We present a range of options and sites around the city and you pick what suits you best, within the time available. They can also run over more than one day, taking you beyond must-see attractions like Corcovado or Sugarloaf Mountain.

Entrance fees are not included. Transfers between sites are by private air-conditioned vehicle, included in the price. Up to 5: a 7-seat minivan; from 6: a 16-seat van.

Tour duration: 8 to 9 hours.
What to bring: camera, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Who can join: everyone. Children: under age 4 free, ages 5 to 12 at 50%. Restrictions: none.
What to wear: light clothes for the day, and bring something warm for the end of the day.
In January, February, and March the price rises by about 10%.
