I want to tell you about an angel by the name of "Benny Klein", an Israeli who has been living here in Rio for 20 years already. He has a tour company called "Rio Trip" and he puts his whole self into this thing. Remember that name, because he is going to be one of the greats. Forget for a moment that he is a brilliant guide with a lot of experience, he is simply an amazing human being. Me and 4 of my friends had nowhere to spend Shabbat, and we just asked him what he recommends doing, and he did not hesitate for a second and simply told us to come and stay at his home. He immediately arranged places for us at the Chabad house, because we arrived really late and did not have time to prepare food for Shabbat (we keep Shabbat), and he took care of everything in the best way there is, and all of it without asking for a single real from us, simply giving from the heart! I really want to thank him, in my name and in the name of all my friends, with all my heart, for the giving and the love that is the least taken for granted of all. There is an amazing guy named Benny Klein, a guide who lives here in Rio. Benny took me and a few more friends on a guided tour of the favelas, the graffiti wall, the stairs and the Christ statue.

A brilliant person who knows the locals, has broad knowledge on every subject, and also helps with anything you need on the trip (even if it has nothing to do with his own tour).

He helped me get a SIM card at an excellent price, made sure tickets for a game at the Maracana were brought to my hostel, and gave me phone numbers of locals who could help me at other destinations too.

Benny also runs other tours in Rio, and through him you can do a wide range of attractions at cheaper prices than anywhere else (including the round trip transport!).

Anyone who books several attractions with him also gets a discount, on top of the already low price.

I enjoyed every moment with him during the tour and enjoyed his recommendations. I recommend that everyone talk to him and check with him before booking attractions and tours anywhere else! You will not be disappointed.

After a run of posts in which we were exposed to all sorts of negative reviews (which also have their place when needed), we felt the need to say a good word and give some credit:

Today we were on the daily Rio tour of *Benny Klein (Rio Trip)*. The tour was long, wide ranging, thorough and at our own pace. Benny let us decide where to stay longer and where to stay less, according to how curious we were about the site we were visiting, showed impressive command of the material and listened to our questions. Besides that, and more importantly than that, Benny is a positive, energetic and cheerful person, and it is simply fun to be in his company.

As for price: we did choose him without comparing prices against others (thanks to the recommendations we received), but our feeling was that the price was fair to begin with, and even low relative to the value we got (we also gave him a tip on our own initiative).
